The watch boasts a range of advanced features, including a neobrite, mineral glass face, LED backlight (super illuminator), digital compass, thermometer, and world time functionality. It also includes a countdown timer, 5 daily alarms, hourly time signal, and low battery alert, all powered by a long-lasting, dual SR927W battery with an approximate 2-year life.

Ensuring reliable operation in challenging conditions, the Mud Resist construction helps prevent intrusion by sand, mud, or dust. Multiple gaskets are used on the pipes that guide the buttons and shafts, keeping mud out while enhancing button operation. This tough structure is prepared to support training and actual missions in environments such as jungles and deserts, making it an ideal tool for rangers and rescue crews.

With a case diameter of 56.2mm, the GG1000-1A5 Watch is water-resistant to 200 meters (660 feet), suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, though not for diving.
